In 1969, haematologist Refaat Ismail faces disturbing incidents that unsettle his convictions. His former university colleague Maggie joins him as the danger reaches people close to them. The supernatural mysteries are filtered through a reluctant investigator whose doubts are as central as the phenomena themselves.
