The series, without spoilers
The Al-Tayyan household takes in a baby found outside a mosque, unsettling the lives of people already divided by different expectations. Khalid and his brother Mohsen disagree over change, while relatives and neighbours bring their own concerns into the family’s orbit. Private relationships become a way of following a society in transition.
