Story, without spoilers
Around the turn of the millennium, Saify Muhammed runs a struggling cassette shop and owes money to several people, including his former wife. His supplier Al-Mahdi connects him to the world of a powerful local benefactor. When Saify discovers a compromising recording, he imagines that blackmail will solve his problems. Instead, his scheme pulls family relationships and powerful interests into the same crisis.

Wael Abumansour's Saudi drama uses the cassette trade as the setting for a story about money, public respectability and self-deception. It was produced by Telfaz11 and selected for the Red Sea festival's 2024 competition.
