Story, without spoilers
At a strict girls' school, Amira faces bullying while her friend Rana must negotiate the expectations of her mother, principal Hayat. A sudden fire turns their daily rivalries into an emergency. Questions about its cause draw attention to what pupils and teachers knew, what they ignored and how they responded under pressure.
Context & recognition
Khalid Fahad's Saudi drama combines a school story with an investigation. Netflix describes it as fiction inspired by real events, rather than a literal reconstruction. Its central concerns are responsibility, authority and the difficulty of speaking honestly within a tightly controlled community.
